Pricing Manager

Job description

Carrefour Armenia is hiring an experinced, highly motivated Pricing Manager. He/She will be responsible for the incorporation of the price in the pricing mix being aligned with the company strategy in order to meet the set targets and to remain competitive in the market.

Main Duties

• Review the feasibility and optimal pricing for new products, working closely with the sourcing team
• Support the update and monitoring for pricing section’s KPI’s in line with corporate strategy
• Review the pricing analysis on a monthly basis and review / update of the price sensitivity lists
• Review the price sensitive lists on a monthly basis integrating "Sales Analysis Data" and "Customers Data"
• Collaborate with internal department to ensure synergies for the benefit of the pricing function
• Define with the merchandise team the pricing margin taking into consideration the category role
• Assist the sourcing team with the annual rebate agreements negotiations
• Coordinate communication between the Corporate Head Office and stores at the country level
• Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
• Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
• Provide inputs for the development of the annual manpower plan
• Prepare the annual contract for the price-sensitive list and the Ex-Assortment survey with the Price Research Company
• Review competitor’s prices for similar products and recommend/take corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economy, Business Administration or relevant
• 3+ years in a similar position (in retail business is preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of Mathematics
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Project management
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
