Network administrator

Description

ImImex Group hires an experienced network administrator who will responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company servers and computer networks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a variety of network protocols, settings, configurations and maintenance of software and hardware involved in the LAN / WAN operations of the company.
• Responsible for troubleshooting network issues and taking initiative for network security and systems upgrades.
• Conduct systems analysis and keep systems current with changing technologies.
• In conjunction with the manager, manage the coordination of communication and support between the user community and the technical and operational functions of IT in relation to all network functions.
• Serves as a key technical resource, providing advice, training, and technical support for various projects.
• Takes care of the company computer network settings, in case of any issues detects and solves them.
• Carries out archiving and backup works.
• Ensures compliance with the information security standards set in the company system.
• Ensures the installation of new technical equipment and monitors their smooth operation.

Requirements

• Ensures the smooth operation of servers (MS Windows, Unix types)
• Experience with MikroTik routers.
• Administration experience with wireless technologies, preferably MikroTik and Ubiquiti.
• Knowledge of LDAP concepts and Group Policy Administration.
• Linux administration and routing knowledge.
• Working knowledge of VoIP protocols.
• Understanding & practice of virtualization (VMware) VLANs in enterprise environments.
• Experience in data center technology and server hardware.
• Backup tools, image builds, and server recovery.
• Experience in managing and deploying network security solutions.
• Experience in managing and deploying e-mail servers.
• Experience in managing and deploying DNS servers.
• Experience in managing and deploying DHCP servers.
