Data Scientist NLP

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This candidate will work closely with our data science team on implementing bleeding-edge machine learning methods. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in ML and excellent programming abilities, preferably in Python.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply NLP algorithms to extract information or insight from raw text data,
• Develop tools or libraries to enhance and automate data science workflow,
• Build and deploy NLP/ML models for the Analysed's analytical AI products,
• Design and implement data pipeline for NLP/ML models,
• Research and experiment with NLP/ML methods for product R&D,
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering Teams to discuss and design new products, features and enhancements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in a quantitative field (statistics, computer science, math, computational biology, econometrics, etc.),
• 2+ years working with deep learning models in NLP applications
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch),
• Ability to stay on top of and implement state-of-the-art methods from word embeddings to transformers to transfer learning and beyond,
• Great communication skills in using data to inform a story that non-technical audiences can easily digest while emphasizing impact.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with Graph Databases,
• Experience with Kubernetes,
• Experience with Spark / Hadoop,
• Experience with other programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, .Net).
