AKG PHARMACY is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position: Head of Retail Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities
1. PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
- Planning of retail sales on annual and monthly basis, coordination with category managers;
- Planning of chain development (new pharmacies, renovation and etc.);
- Approving marketing plan and calendar, coordination with category managers;
- Constantly reviewing results and defining specific activities for traffic, customer satisfaction , retail efficiencies;
- Competition and market analysis;
- Weekly sales analysis;
- KPIs definition and track per month;
- Formation of motivation and bonus systems for pharmacies and constant improvements;
- Defining monthly sales plans per pharmacies.
2. MANAGING RETAIL OPERATIONS
- Lead activities for new pharmacy opening/renovation and organize workflow;
- Tracks implementation of all retail related activities (marketing projects, promotions, layout changes, procedures changes and etc.);
- Market visits with regional managers, category managers and marketing;
- Involvement and approval of pharmacy layouts with category managers and merchandising;
- Strong leadership to the team and front employees;
- Monthly meetings with the from employees and assuring that all front related problems are solved timely and with high quality;
- Clearly communicating business development strategy to the team and front employees;
- Constantly improving service standards, controlling front office and assuring customer service above expectations;
- Controlling direct expenses related to pharmacies, managing headcount at pharmacies efficiently;
- In coordination with operations manager looking for new locations for pharmacies according to chain development strategy ;
- Estimating profitability of new locations of pharmacies;
3. MANAGING MARKETING
- Approval of marketing plan on annual and monthly basis, in coordination with marketing manager and category managers;
- Approval of monthly marketing calendar in coordination with marketing manager and category managers;
- Control of all BTL and ATL marketing activities and assuring their efficiency;
- Controlling pharmacy branding execution and assuring their correspondence to brand book standards;
- Analysis of marketing activities;
- Weekly meetings with marketing, regional managers and category managers for evaluating results and adjusting planned retail related activity plans and calendar;
- Managing strategic marketing projects.
4. REVIEW TRAFFIC / VALUE OF BILL / ITEMS ON BILL / SALE PER EMPLOYEE AND OTHER RETAIL KPIs
5. RETAIL INNOVATIONS and PROCESSES INNOVATIONS
- Constant assessment of potential new innovations and calculated proposals;
- Constant assessment of processes and proposals for improvement of processes and routines at pharmacies and within organization;
- COMMUNICATION TO TEAMS regarding business direction and development in other departments, conclusions and actions to be taken
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position
- Effective leadership and the ability to motivate others
- The capacity to grasp new concepts quickly
- Shrewd business sense and well-developed commercial awareness
- A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas
- Strong knowledge of Armenian, Russian or English languages
