| Required qualifications: |
|
To be considered, candidates must meet or exceed the following qualifications:
• Master's degree in engineering, environmental economics, or related fields
• Minimum 6 years of experience in energy sector of Armenia. Experience working at/with the RA Government (preferable, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Public Services Regulatory Commission) and/or international donor-funded projects is desirable.
• Strong competency and proven track record in issues related to energy efficiency
• Extensive knowledge on world Energy Efficiency practices, with proven knowledge of EU policy/requirements
• Experience and skills in capacity-building of energy service companies, in energy-related policy development, regulatory reform, and public awareness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information in English and Armenian
• Proficiency in MS-Office applications - Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong inter-personal/team member, communication, and self-motivation skills
• Ability to develop and sustain close relationships with contract managers, project partner organizations, Armenian Government officials, and a wide range of national and international NGOs
• Fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian languages
