Job responsibilities:
• Develop, test and maintain web applications in PHP/Mysql and Javascript/AJAX code
• Design Mysql database structure
• Read, understand and modify the existing code
• Participate in project planning
• Work collaboratively and effectively on team projects.
• Demonstrate ability to complete engineering tasks on time and on target with minimal guidance

Required qualifications:
Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks
• Front-end development including jQuery /Mootools .
• Understanding of Ajax
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (desirable)
• Smarty or any other templating system (desirable).
• Experience in Web Application development and / or software development (desirable, not essential).
• Some knowledge of the Linux command line (desirable, not essential).
• Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal.
