An open-air cafe manager is essentially responsible for overall management of the cafe which includes balance cash receipts, directing staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position. He/she will work under the direct supervision of the Director. |
|
| Job responsibilities: |
|
Operational management: organizing stock and equipment, ordering supplies, and overseeing building maintenance, cleanliness;
Financial management: planning and working to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets set by controlling takings in the café, administering payrolls, etc.;
Human Resource management: recruiting new staff, training and developing existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets, coordinating staff scheduling;
working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the café and the kitchens are complying with relevant health and safety regulations;
Quality Management: ensuring high standards of customer service are observed at all times; handling customer complaints and queries; |

| Required qualifications: |
|
at least 2 years of work experience in food/restaurants business,
at least 1 year managerial work experience,
written and oral English knowledge
Russian language knowledge is preferable,
knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, E-mail and Internet);
experience in 1C or other retail operational software is a plus;
availability for daily shift work;
ability to manage multiple tasks. |
