The primary objective of this position is to provide online technical support to DAMARIS clients.
Job responsibilities:
-Setup new configuration on clients server (OS, DBMS, DAMARIS products);
-Diagnoses of client server configuration in order to find problems and solutions;
-Tuning and optimization of client server configuration for DAMARIS products;
-Tuning and configuration client databases for DAMARIS products;

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a professional field (engineering or information technology is preferred) or comparable experience;
- At least 1 year of work experience as technician or system administrator in IT company with an emphasis on system performance tuning and troubleshooting;
- Technical knowledge of WINDOWS system administration;
- Good knowledge of SQL and Database Administration (knowledge of SQL server obligatory, ORACLE and MySQL is plus);
- Basic knowledge of software development concepts and languages is plus (ability to read and understand logic of source codes);
- Good knowledge of operating system optimization and fine tuning;
- Advanced knowledge of operating system script development;
- Good knowledge of English languages. French is plus;
- Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments within critical deadlines;
- Effective communication and team-working skills.
