The International School of Economics at Tbilisi Sate University (ISET) invites holders of Master’s and PhD degrees in economics to apply for Teaching Fellowships financed by the CERGE-EI Foundation for the fall and spring semesters of the 2011/12 academic year.
Teaching Fellows will be expected to conduct seminars and teach economics courses at selected Armenian universities. A typical work load is 4 hours per week.
Newly appointed Teaching Fellows will be invited to Prague for a short program of pedagogical training in August 2011. Training, transportation and accommodation expenses are fully covered by the CERGE-EI Foundation.
Grant amount: USD 2,400 (per semester)

• MA of PhD degree in Economics from a reputable European or North American program.
• Strong academic performance
• Teaching or TA experience desirable
• Willingness to teach at local universities

Interested Candidates should submit:
• Cover letter
• CV (emphasizing teaching or TA experience)
• Transcript reflecting academic performance at the MA or PhD level
• Writing sample (MA thesis or PhD dissertation)
• List of preferred courses/topics to be taught. Please note that Teaching Fellows would be primarily expected to teach such undergraduate courses as Microeconomics (principles and intermediate), Macroeconomics, Statistics and Econometrics.
